JOB PURPOSE

JVM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Analyst Ⅰ to join our team and perform a full range of scientific services with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 (South Central) serving Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in serving as a scientific or technical resource.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Training users on how to appropriately utilize their computer systems.

• Writing instruction manuals for systems.

• Consulting with managers to determine what role the systems play in the business.

• Testing the systems on a regular basis to ensure quality and function.

• Preparing costs and benefits analysis on systems.

• Brainstorming new ways to add more functionality to systems.

• Choosing and configuring the hardware and software of a system.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology with zero experience

• High school degree with 5 years of experience

• Appropriate certifications, in database development, programming, or other information technologies.

• Must be able to pass a background check.
